Hi guys, I've been getting my head around Vray and Rhino. I've still got lots to learn but I would like to share my work so far for your constructive comments. The scene used is the Velociraptor Vray tutorial.The trainer image was tweeked in Photoshop. No change was made to the figures.



I only used the blur tool in Photoshop for this one. The developers need to do a lot more work on the texture and mapping function in both Vray and Rhino.


Some door handles I have designed.

Very nice renders!
Can you explain how you did the mapping it the 1st & 3rd sneaker images. The stiches for exemple... or was it done is PS?

Thanks for the comments. I modeled one stitch and used array along curve, some stitches needed slight adjustment. I'm not happy with the stitching because I feel the gaps are to far apart. Each trainer render took between 13 to 16 minutes using the Velociraptor scene, the figures took 5mins. The original image size was 72dpi 43cm x 31cm.

The characters are called Tigerstyle, they are a couple of guys from Glasgow who produce fantastic bhangra music. The characters were done for their marketing check out their site www.tigerstyleonline.co.uk ;D
