Hi guys im new here, this would be my VERY first Vray model i've done, any comments are welcome ;D
PS: i did not have a night photo, so i baked the day one.
Wow! Very impressive renders. They look faultless. The tone, shadows, etc are perfect for the montage. Just the car lights and lack of street lights, in the second image, look like a murky night. As you don't have a night shot, I guess it would be tricky to fix this. However, otherwise really excellent and very impressive. Love it!
Very Nice. Both shots are comp'ed in quite nicely. The night shot came out very good even if it was still using the day shot. The trick is just to make sure you don't show the two shots back to back, then no one will ever know
Want to share the glass .vismat material you used with us?
Oh yeah, another thing: is it possible to post the RAW output as well?
By posting the Raw output next to the post processed image matched version, we can all learn from it.
We all know by now that Pshop is an important tool to master despite how superior a render engine is.
My 5 cents? The tree is full Pshop work.
In my experience, adding trees in Pshop is always better than using clip map surfaces in 3D.
Why? A clip map (billboard) tree never has the same 'color match' to the rest of the scene.
By the way Silver,
I think you need to set the opacity of the tree layer in Pshop to 95% or so.
In this way the halo effect on the edges will be somewhat less pronounced and it will still look 'real'.
biebel youre right. the tree looks a bit funny hee hee.
here is my raw output.
here is also another quick internal entrance i was playing around. Remember this is far from finished, was just playing around.
silver nice images, the interior is equally great. the texture seams on the columns bother me a bit. was that intentional. overall. you have always great rendering capabilities in any software that you use.
Holy moly! You, Nomer, Jeff, Freeagent and Biebel are really masters of 3d. I've been a follower of you guys in the other forum. Unfortunately, I can't join you guys there because I don't have a license. Great work! Can you guys post some tutorials for us newbies? Thanks!
