Hi, welcome to the fold!
You seem to have made a good start with the software.
On the interior shot, its good to see that you are using the sun and lighting.
The images do appear to be quite grainy, so I suggest you try either the these universal settings http://www.asgvis.com/index.php?opti...13372#msg13372 or (my preference) Mado's settings http://www.asgvis.com/index.php?opti...12958#msg12958
(I find Mado's setting much quicker.)
I think you also need to make the external image (viewed through the door and window) much brighter - almost bleached out - to make it more lifelike.

i never knew bout those settings.. it helped me render the same interior 1.5 times the opriginal size for almost the same time!! Thanx chris for the settings.. thnk u!!!
