  • THE SOPRANOS

    Sketchies

    Vray for Sketchup

    The Sopranos
Elements of wood, steel, concrete, glass.
    Render time: 2.5hrs
Furnitures used: Le Corbusier sofas and Philip Johnson chair.
House: Falling water house by Frank Loyd Wright.

I intentionally did not highlight the whole image. A mixture of monochrome presentation to match the elements I mentioned. I did not infuse bumps on the carpet, brick and concrete to reduce the render time.

    Great shot Mikaztro.
Nice mood capturing and great find on that furniture.
    Vray is fun right

I like the blurry reflections on the floor. Some cracks would make that polished concrete even more real and alive.

Are you using Vlados universal settings? (some noise on the ceiling).

Thanks for sharing this wonderful work.

    Cheers,

Fun indeed Biebel. Was inspired by your Ando building, so I did Mr. Wright's masterpiece plus a couple of master Architects' furnitures. Oh and I forgot, it was also inspired by the tv show "The Sopranos". ;D

Biebel, I could have used more bumps and textures but the render time is killing me. My Laptop isn't that good. No, i'm not using Vlado's settings. I experimented on my own(Mikaztro's settings) Hehehehe.

hi mikatro, whats d specs of your laptop in rendering this image? i also use a laptop on my 3d-modelling, but have not used Vray yet-still have to evaluate it. and that includes pc-specs. m using dell 1505-2gb mem, centrino duo at 1.6ghz, but hav no video card, just intel graphics accelerator...so hav no idea if it can render well on vray4sk.

Hello Archfsm! Sorry for the late reply. Been busy these past few weeks. My laptop's specs are P4 1.6g. 1gb ram, videocard on board. I don't know the specs of the video card. Hoping to see your renders soon. Mabuhay ka pare!
