    Re: 1st exterior....

alq, the renderings are ok, if its from the point of view of a non-architect/designer, like the clients. but if it's going to be commented by other professionals like us ( you included ) there's always room for improvements. one thing though, i just noticed that its getting the norm of having realistic renderings on top of the list, rather than expressing the design and concept of a project. if the client is an architect or designer ( or someone who has some know-how on renderings ) then its really good to go for really impressive, realistic ones. But for others, its enough for them to see as much. Come to think of it, you'll never know when a client suddenly complains about the final construction of a building which is way off from the presented renderings...i would rather have a client praise the actual building built which would turn-out more beautiful than its fictional-render counterpart.

Yes, I think the renderings are good.
I do feel that the render should be either a) a render of a virtual physical model i.e. studio based and with artificial lighting and a plain (?black) backround) just as if you had photographed the model in a studio, OR b) a photo-realistic model - aiming to be indestinguishable from the real thing.

At the moment you appear to be using a physical light, quite close to the model, as the lighting levels on the roof are graduated and some of the grass is very bright. - this is fine for a 'studio' set-up, but would suggest a plain blackground if you want the 'studio' look.

If you want photorealism (and therefore using the photographic background) I suggest you use the physical camera and sky (sunlight) as this will give more natural lighting.

Having said all that, the render is good and maybe just needs a few tweaks.

(by the way - love the interiors - very nice indeed)

      Good Luck
