  • Succes finaly...

    Hello guys,
this is my first time posting, i have been reading and following this forum for quite some time and with a lot of tries and a lot reading and learning i managed to create something i like at least a bit.

I'm a student of architecture from serbia, this is my design of living room from a house with a small ( very small) front yard. Model is mine also.

    Comments and critics are welcome.

Done only with natural light - enviorment and gi - no extra lights... physical camera.

if you like ti i can manage to find detail settings..

I really like it a lot, at a first glance you can see the amount of work and time that has gone into it, and for your first posted attempt this is brilliant, I love the balance between the exterior and interior, well done!

the only input i could put in is that I feel a unobtrusive light inside would brighten the interor up a bit, depending on some people's monitors, lcd or CRT this picture appears very dark. maybe look through the other picture posts and there is a good example of emmisive lighting solutions.

Otherwise, all i can say is I await your next project.

WOW - now I really like the last one you put on there, But im wondering if there is something that you can do to make it look like there is glass seperating the inside to the outside, maybe turn up the reflection a bit or IOR? otherwise I am well impressed.

This last render took approximately 5 hours because of the HIGH poly model (i mean really big my sketchup scene weights 70mb now)

                        As for the machine :

                        CPU - Intel C2D e2160, thats 1.8MHz
                        2gb of ram
                        and Ati 2600XT graphics

                        no overclocking, for now...

FOC = free of charge... hehehe

ok... i think my pc would render roughly about the same time...

                          am252000+
                          2gb ddr667
                          nvidia 8600gts

but i'll have to check out tomshardware for advise
                          LOL... :-[

way to go! yeah i like it very much.. you said you can manage to share your settings, the one without additional lights? I only started rendering with vray for sketchup two days ago! i hope you don't mind if i'll ask you to share also some vismats, those found in the downloads section would be great. i can't download them since the section is temporarily closed. thanks a lot! my email is paulo_kulot@yahoo.com, in case you got time! keep posting!
