Game Viewing Hide

Hi all

Was a project at university, had to design a game viewing hide for a game reserve. Hada to be easy to build and out of locally found materials.

exceelent concept and render. the way i see it you have been playing with this software often before you posted this. from texture to soft shadow and other more i could see how good you are in using this soft. excellent render i say again. the only minor thing is the proportion during post process. the elephants looks like baby elephants in comparison with this viewing hide.

Sorry for my noob question, but how can i make such a soft shadow? There must be someway to modify the "default light", rite?

Increase the size of your light... The sun also is one big light. so if you increase its size, you will find the shadow is much softer.

Very nice rendering, with a setting to die for!!
After the care you have taken over the textures etc. I suggest one final touch - a texture for the ends of the timbers - you can get some here http://www.cgtextures.com/
