This is looking good. You have set your model well in the existing landscape and the shadows work well.
I would forget about bumps on this (too far away to make an impression), and sort out the glass reflections. Put a jpg or hdri image in the 'environment' slot (if you are using the physical camera, then you will need to set the image multiplier to about 50000). If you can, I would also try to cast some shadow on the model, say from the tree just out of view on the left hand side. Some dappled shade nearly always looks good!

    Good Luck

      Re: residential

Thanks so much, sir! I'll use your instructions as my guide. Although, where exactly on the "environment" slot should I place it? any good advice to get a perfect exterior-interior VISOPT, or should I just play around? Also any advice to have a perfect BUMP or displacement? Once again, thank you for the help!

If you follow this thread you will get some idea about the environment slot

        http://asgvis.com/index.php?option=c...15864#msg15864

It is in the options - environment - choose bitmap - M (put the bitmap here)

Settings (visopts) need to suit the situation, and I would say that there is nothing wrong with your current settings, so just play around to tweak anything you are not happy with.

If you do a search on this forum you will get plenty of advice about bumps and displacement. Again I don't think there is a 'perfect' solution, its horses for courses. So for instance, putting a bump map in when it wont be seen is a waste of time, but if you are doing a close up then obviously you need more care in selecting textures and bumps. I suggest you do some test renders on a simple model to experiment.
