thanks men for the comments, the glass mat. i used is the default clear glass on the vray Materials. then i put a plane in front of the glass with texture image for the reflection. regarding the lines of the glass i used different darker blue galss materials on the edge of the glass so that i will look darker when its rendered. and also make some gap interval between glass panel for about 1/4 inch. thats all men. I used IR for primary and LC for secondary bounces..
once again thanks for the appreciation guysss....
fantastic work. can you describe your method for placing the plane in front of the glass? is it placed out of the field of view of the shot or set right in front of the window and set not to render? i have tried using the environmental slot to make reflections in glass but with no luck. your approach works perfectly!

      thanks!

enviroment - bitmap - set here HDRI map - set in options enviroment

        or

make a bilboard in front of glass and there put a material with some view or sth like that but far enough to not have it in render scene

here how it goes the glass and the billboard to make a nice reflection..
the distance between the glass and the billboard is around 500 inches

              wookie..
i'm not so good in this vray and sketchup..but i always doing this way with all material..
actually all material are set in sketchup...firstly, when u created a material, especially wooden floor..u'll choosed a texture of wooden floor (jpeg image).is it right..?? on create material box u can change the length and width of that material...to know if the scale is right or not..just apply it on sketchup surface..if u are not satisfy with that scale, pick that surface with that material on it and right click ur mouse..u'will find a word texture>position click on it, and u'll see there is four buttons with different colour appear on ur texture...

blue button - used to scaled and shear..
yellow button - used to distort the texture..
red button - used to move the texture..
green button - used to scale and rotate texture..

u can do whatever u like with that texture..scale it as u want..
if u're finish edit ur texture just click the select button back at toolbar..and u're done..
used the same way to edit all texture at the flat surface..
to edit with bump and reflection..just linked it to vray..
              that's all...sorry if i'm misunderstand ur question..

              tq..

              regards..

                  Re: contemporary part2

that's the problem with vray material(vismat)..the problem come when we wanted to scale it..that's why i'm always used sketchup materials..
                  what i'm always doing is..
i will look for good texture image in certain web..
then i created sketchup material with that image..
apply it to any surface in sketchup model..
but i'm always complete my modelling in sketchup first before linked the material to vray..
make sure u scaled that material in sketchup before link it..that's always work fine for me..
and when u link to vray..make sure u update that material in vray first..then edit it for reflection or bump..lastly, update it for the last time after all editting was done..
then u can proceed to link it with the other material..and do the same steps..if not, i found out that bugs will appear if u linked all material at once..
so..link one material at one time...update>edit>update...
that's seem to be working..all the scaled and material position come out exactly as i want when i render the scene..
hope this will answer ur question..if not..i'm so sorry..maybe u can ask the other guys who were understand vray the most..
i'm not prefer to load vismat coz more problem will appear that make me feel so frustrated..that why i'm created my own sketchup material using jpeg image..

and if u want to have good floor texture..u should try to download this software to create ur own floor texture(jpeg)..coz i'm always used this software to create any wood texture for my model..trust me..it's fabulous

                  tq..

                      Re: contemporary part2

ok..how to link the sketchup material to vray..
firstly, after all setup and ur model was done as ur wish, and ur material was apply to all faces in sketch up..go to plugin menu..click on it..then choose vray for sketchup > material editor. the vray material editor box will appear on ur screen..
under material workspace, right click on scene material, then choose Add material > Add VrayLinkedMtl..a 'Choose' box will appear on ur screen..all sketchup material were listed on it..just choose which material u want to link and edit with vray one by one..like i said before..after one material linked, update it first > edit > update...and after that u can proceed to link the other sketchup material..
that's all...before i'm forget, u need to know that i'm always make sure the material was applied to only front face/side of sketchup model...as far as i know, it works well enough..

                      that's all..

                      tq..

                      regards..

i am still amazed the way u set up this scene. may i ask u a quick Q? how can you avoid the shadow being casted to your model by that image that setup for the reflection on the windos?
                              Thanks million!! u rock!!
