Without knowing the project details, or your Vray settings, I can already see what may be your main issue.

Your memory is very low. 256 MB today is not enough to run Solitaire.

I have a couple of computers at my disposal at home that I use network rendering on, and I can see the difference memory makes on the same scene. With simple scenes, fastest CPU (AMD 2200 I believe) with 512 MB RAM smokes the AMD 1500 with a Gig of RAM. However.. for more complex scenes where paging is involved, the machine with a Gig of RAM is 2-3 times faster.

I also notice that just running desktop and Internet explorer takes up 200-250 MB, so you are probably taking up all the memory just starting 3DS Max.

you have to upload'em to a url like http://www.XXXXXXXX.com/XX.jpg and put it in your post like this:

and it will appear... or only put th URL and you will make a link to the place where it is...

a lack of RAM and 12 VRAY lights might be an issue. Try seeing if you can reduce the number of VRAY lights. They look great but are more computationally expensive than max lights.
try using skylight portals or fewer VRAY lights.
