        looks like a very natural shot, but i think theres a tad too much DOF. Nice texture

          agreed. i think the DOF should still be there, just less of it.

          the inside of the shell seems to be a lil too smooth...although this may be due to the DOF droping out detail as it recedes in space.


          the texturing and lighting are spot on.

          nice image.

            very nice, i.m.o. the dof looks natural because a seashell is quite small and this is what happens in macrophotography, i've seen carrenders with more dof (micromachines?)

            anyways, keep up the good work, looks awesome

                I used SSS inside surface (Translucence with texture),
                Material was made myself (wood texture & Photoshop.... )

                this screen without Dof
