    Re: Interior Scenes (asian/tropical house)

    welcome to the forum patrick,
well, not bad for a newbie
there's something in your work that i think got the potential,

    here's my notes.
    1. noise is very much obvious, so watch out for it..
    try this setting: http://www.asgvis.com/index.php?opti...0&topic=2103.0
    2. carpet displacement.
    3. that staircase is great..wood texture looks real..

keep it up bro. its a good start

hello! i'm so amazed with your output considering that your only a new user for sketchup vray, just want to ask if you don't mind. what is your setting for your carpet? and also did you adjust the displacement tab option? thanks!

tnx rod! yes, i did change the displacement settings,, i change the amount from 1 to 8,,
and everything else is default,, to be honest, displacement is a trial and error thing for me,,, :-[

            Re: Interior Scenes (asian/tropical house)

welcome patrick.. the design is really good, the elements that you added in the scene adds life into it. very intircate and careful.

-take care of overburning your scene.
            - the camera tilt is too much imo
            - use emmissive map for the tv
            - as for the global illumination, can you share what did you use. engine, sun sky etc. cannot really help unless you give us some leads on it.

but over all the potential of buing one of the best here is there already. all you need is to practice, explore and be patient.

Sorry because I can't give you "technical" advices, I'm still a newbie, try to catch my self all the aspects of V-ray, but I sincerely tell you that I really love that "richness" of your renderings, mine are kind of flatten image..
                Congratulations once again!
                Regards,
                /Stefan
