    Hi crisp..

    you have rendered a good image.. i love the first image, is the planter a 3d model or it PS job?

    just IMO its a bit dark on the interior, or maybe its just my monitor?

        worth attaching the message direct so that they will show up immediatelly. crisp when you add image click on the insert icon and copy the link, rather than copying the links.

          Thanks for the comments everyone.

          Vidy, all planters are modeled. the only part that is photo are the background trees and the foreground sidewalk.

          Nomer, appreciate the tip and for posting the images. I'll check it out next post.

                could u show me how to make that reflection??? how u did that? it was a texture in a plane, or an bitmap on reflection? pleaaaase!!!! pleassssseeee""""!!!!

                  Andeciuala, get yourself a cloudy HDR image and set it as your background. Don't bother with making texture maps as reflections. Set you glass to have a standard reflection and you're done.

                    Yeah but when i do that, put a hdri image on bakcground the reflection get too big, blury i dont know if u know what i mean.

                          Really impressive man! I like the effect of having some lights turned on softly during the day. How did you achieve that? Emission? If so, may I just ask what your setting for that emissive layer is? Particularly for that of the ceiling in the second image?

                          I've been trying to emit some light from a "laptop scene", but it just won't work on some visopts, wonder what is there to tweak. Thanks!
