nice one migz. those noise ussually occurs with blurry reflections. i tried lowering the noise threshold in the QMC sampler up to .001 (yeah they were gone) but arrrgh. the rendering time was soooooo long. i hate it. now im looking for workaround like using bump texture with low multiplier.
thanks nomer,
ive made this on 0.005 noise threshold, -3,0 min/max
somehow it did lessen the noise..
now a decent hi-res background image is my problem..
Hi migz, what do you say about one good spherical map, in your background slot?
I have couple of them, but it's 40-50MB per map...don't know how to share a
big file like that..
The rendering it's good, and the noise threshold should be 0.005 for good results, and like Nomer said, 0.001 it will give you nightmares.
Here some other map for your deck, maybe you want to experience
CHECK THE NAME OF THE IMG!! SOME ARE BUMPS( BRIGHTEN ONES) SOME OF THEM
ARE SPECULAR MAPS(DARKEN ONES), SPECULAR GO'S TO REFLECTION-MAP-FIRST FRESNEL MAP(ON TOP)
DON'T KNOW IF YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT, NO OFFENSE!
whoa!
thanks for the tip my friend stefanq,
i really dont know about the specular map thing, until now.
i know in max i saw something like that but dont know that vfsu can use it too.
really appreciate that bro, got something to learn again..hehehe
thanks!
migz, you have to use emmissive map on the TV. all you need to do is to creat a vray linked material of that map. then add an emissive layer. Reload your map under the "color" and be sure you have to enter high multiplier if you are using physical camera.
