Hi, very nice renders indeed. Good design object as well

One question: How did you manage to get such a nice white background? Is that a very large white surface? Or how did you do this? I only see a small shadow, the rest is pure white!

Or is this done with PS?

Hi Frank, I generally never do any PS work on any of my renders. It might take up some time to get the render right but it means if I ever have to to a re render later on I can match the old render. (And this happens a lot when designers change their minds.) Re the white background, its really very easy. Just a simple ground plane with a white curved surface curling up behind. Then I just set the global illumination until it makes everything white.

thanks! That helps a lot.. thought you maybe were using 'infinite background' or something like that. But a curved surface makes more sense. I'll try it out!
