Hi Alexander, I'm student of ID from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Your render is really impressive. I usually have to make this kind of renders for my University, so i have a few questions, i hope don't be bother you.
1. What is a Rhino Evironmental Map? Where can i find it?
2. Do you know the difference between these and Hdri?
Ði zooropa, i'm ID student too, and consumer electronic is my favourite design area. You don't disturb me So, in these renders i put Rhino environment map as background in main Vray window. GI color is white, without maps. You can find rhino env. maps in Rhino env.map directory. Program files / Rhinoceros /English / Environment maps. I'm using these maps, because i haven't suitable HDRI. In this case the final effect is the same.I hope that you understood me, despite my awful english.
Hi Alexander how are you? Im doing a project for my Uni. I was wandering what happened with my scene. I follow your instructions, but i cant get your render style, it seems really dark. Here is an image:
Thank you really much, if you don't have time don't bother i will figure it out.
Zooropa!
Hi zooropa, that is screenshot directly from my Rhyno
You must put env.map only in background. You maybe must increase the intensity of lights, in my scene i put 2 rectangular lights with multiplier 10 each.
