Hey Everyone! I thought i would have an attempt at a night scene!! There is still a lot of work to do, i am not happy with my textures and need to add some light and life to my interior, but i am getting there slowly!! Comments plz!

Hi will, it's not so bad as you think...in fact I really like it. The water it's very good, and that's important, because it's almost 50% of your image, and somehow it's the first thing that pops when you look first time at the image. It's a very good idea to improve your interiors, but pay attention , not to put something to distract the eye .

Nice render... You need to put space or walk between pool and door of the room.. If someone dive in the pool , for sure the room will get wet.

I think your pool is perfect. I would like to see this pool tiles and your water settigs coz i think it´s just awesome.

But that Moon with those clouds.... where is the werewolf??

excellent render, very professional. I like the idea of opening the bedroom window and falling straight into the pool (or is that diving in).
I'm not convinced about the moon though, I think it is detracting from an otherwise very accomplished scene. Water is excellent - and would be even better with caustics.

Hey everyone!
I agree its not a very good design, its a made up scene just to try out a night time pool scene! after a few drinks i can definetly see somebody falling straight in! I think the girl in the high heels has turned into the werewolf! ;D

Water was quite simple i linked sketchup water material made it completely transparent, default reflection and refraction (IOR - 1.33 Fog - 0), and used a Noise bump map and fiddled with settings until it looked right! EVERYTIME i switched on caustics i would get a run time error, so frustrating!!! so i had to render with out!!

Thanks you for your comments, i will work on my interior and change my sky etc, and i will post the results later!! cheers!!

The whater dont have refraction man, one time that happened to me i had to remake the material.

Some caustics would definitely enhance the scene even more.

I totaly agree, would make the scene so much better!! But everytime i switch on caustics i get a run time error!! and closes sketchup! there must be an error in the file!! i will resave the file and reaply all the materials and see if that works!! Cheers!!
