      Hi Nomer.

I like the image composition wise a lot.
But indeed Ckosio has a point.
Not sure what causes it, but the scene seems to lack distinct shadow parts, as if you used a frontal fill light (coming from behind the camera).
I would expect a bit more 'clair-obscure' effect, a little drama and contrast between lit areas and shadow parts.

Maybe it is just because of the post processing?

Anyway, this scene has the potential to be really amazing (texturing wise and composition wise it already is).

I am sure you will make it work.

      BTW: nice displacement

      regards,
      Biebel

noise is one of my frustration actually when using blurry reflection. i knew i have to lower down the noise but rendering really takes a lot of time especially im just using my laptop. perhaps will plan more now in upgrading my machine here.. anywat kosio yur cc is very well noted.

hey mate, thanks for your comment. wow did not notice that. but your right with that. i think im overenthusiatic in showing the whole thing. that light actually comes from the big window from the left and at the back, so that light really lighten up those shadow area. thanks again mate fot that observation.

im not sure with this because the texture is for registered user of Podium. in any case, i added a bump on this material only. thanks bro.

                  Re: Red Pallette PArt2

vansan, i double check it. indeed the material concrete_026 of P is the same as the concrete in the link you have provided. since you have that texture this is what i did.
                  1. make a black and white image of that texture and name it XXXXbump (or naything that you like)
                  2. apply the material in the surface that you want
                  3. create vray linked material and under the bump add the bump map that you have created
                  4. add refelction layer. with fresnel IOR of 1.35, then lower down the highlight and reflection glossiness by 0.85. you will see you will have.

btw thanks for that link too a lot of good concrete texture there.

hi nomer, this render is looking good ;D, that displcement is great, the sculpture above the bed looks very good and you apply a very nice reflection on it, think some things can be improve like your wood texure maybe need to play more with the highlights glossines and reflection glossines, sometimes this can cause a noise effect, other thing is that the blue and red stripes texture takes realism from your scene, i think it looks very unreal, but maybe its just me, but give me this effect specially on the second image, i think that with some improves this will be an excellent render, congrats my brother.
ps working whit laptops specs gives you more credit for this work bro.

you mentioned vraylinkedmaterial, so i guess you are using the first version of vray for sketchup and not the SR1 release.

the good think about vraylinkedmaterial is that you can change the texture size in sketchup and as long as the difuse map is the same you get just the right result.

this is something that i am missing in SR1
