  • i will always be an amateur

all ye vray-ers.... i have never been good at interiors and i had a quick go at this model and i want your harsh c&c please...

i've got a question...when you put an HDRi in Environment/Background slot with a multiplier of 2, and afterwards you save as .PNG, there should be no background right? so that you can add a sky in Photoshop? somehow i screwed up my glass reflections...the HDRI is showing up, a part of it....

how should i handle this? im trying out the new SR1

    thanks!!

Your image is rather small so I am not sure what is going on, but it looks like the HDRI in your 'environment' slot is creating reflections in the glass screen, which I guess has depth (ie it has created with two faces.
First - if you don't want the reflections then why use a HDRI in the first place.
From what I can see, I would simply use the 'sky' as a background to avoid the problems.
