  • New to VRAY

Hey guys, I'm new to VRAY (had it about a week and a half) and I've been trying to follow tutorials and look at everyones stuff, and I figured I could get some good feedback and some suggestions on posting some stuff.

So here is a flash light i quickly modeled and applied some basic textures to. Nothing special, just looking for basic tips on how to improve render quality and increase realism. Thanks ahead of time : )

Also any suggestions on sketchup plugins that would be helpful, would be appreciated. I need a bezier curves plug in. I'm used to modeling in rhino, and sketchup is pretty different.

      Not at all!

I like it. Here is a tip of light colors: http://www.vray.it/Tutorial/Tut_01.html

And if you want more realism on that light you should read this too: http://asgvis.com/index.php?option=c...0&topic=3932.0

Search for the STUDIO settings on the download session!

That´s it. Everybody helps everybody here!

this is the link where you can find ll the free plug-ins( Ruby's) for sketchup. You will find "bezierspline" as well.
          http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/index.php
The last link is very interesting, and you will find there allot of informations about sketchup( it's a sketchup community)
          Good luck!

Thanks stefan, I'm already a member on that board, but thank you anyway! The ruby's will be very helpful, as I've already found a few that cut modeling time down by tons
