After the liquid follows the caustic, so i hope to accomplish that too
yeah i think its good idea to reproduce such max tutorials and trying them with vraysketchup... i am also using vray max now and i will tell you i have found alot of things that you can do and it seems we dont touch them in vray sketchup..
this is my attempt @ achieving a realistic looking glass. i have a prob with a doubling effect if anybody knows how to solve this please feel free to share.thanx for the tutorial.

whoa!!! i have never seen a relaistic liquid and ice using vraysr/su. so far this is the best.. care to share the material of liquid and ice.. or the best care to share the file with all the settings. i must say we're lucky of having guys like you here in this forum, always experimenting and helping to find out more.. good job 40th.. now you inspires me with this.
btw one thing, perhaps the liquid on the glass should be horizontal to the horizon...
Normer though you quote me u mentioned 40th so i don't know weather you are referring to me in terms of sharing the settings but if you were referring to me i will upload the settings a bit later. currently in a presentation @ my university.
