Looking good Chisel. I like the roof modeling and the rendition of the car. Looks awesome!

Some of the materials looks like repetitive, but in general you are in the right direction! Make the size of the sun @ 10 for soft shadows.

          Chisel,

Did you model this entirely in sketchup? If so, amazing work. I don't know how it's possible to model a door, or roof like that, except in 3ds or c4d. You're the man.

          Stefan,

How do I increase the size of the sun? I can't seem to find any setting? I tried gamma, but that only goes up to 5. Thanks in advance!

            Re: working progress

this it's the path : Render Options/Environment/GI(Skylight)/M(here you should have "sky" as type)/General-Size multiplier. In fact this it's my prior problem, because I like to use HDRI for lighting and background too, so I lose control over the size of the sun, so I have use only sketchup shadows, witch are hard edged.

              Re: working progress

stephan i tried the soft shadows by increasing the size of the sun. but wat i noticed is that the softness of the shaddows is not characteristic of my location especially in the direct sunlight i'm used to seeing sharpe high contrast shaddows for that particular time of day.

earthmover thanks for your coments everthing was modeled by me in sketchup except the car and the door , the door is a high resolution image ;D.
