Wow, I'm knocked out by this one - love it.
As well as the amazing model, the fact that you have selected a sky to really compliment the soaring design is masterly!
What tools did you use to create the flowing low level roof?

Great

Awesome rendering and very original design. Great work. I agree with dcauldwell, the sky selection is perfect. Keep it up & anxious to see more.

Re: Schematic:: "piLiPiNas"

Thanks for all the comments...

Dcauldwell: I tried using subdivide and smooth but It keeps on crushing with sketchup..So I decided to use "soap and skin" and "tensile structures" with touch of FFD.

Migz: hmmm....I think high rise residential?? I don't know yet.

Nektares: Pure sketchup with extra tender, love and care of ruby scripts. :-[

.....:::can't wait for new SKETCHUP:::....

ckosio, after soap and bubble, you erased the faces, then what did you do witht the lines. how did you produced the cylinder. is there a special rubyu, or did you just use follow me tool or tube along path like that manually.

Re: Schematic:: "piLiPiNas"

Nomer: don't delete the faces and lines you will need those.. You can select the grid lines as pipes and use "tube along path" ( you need to select it one by one). for the faces you can use it as glass or net etc.. then FFD for desired forms..then you can smooth the edges.

post you work. enjoy! ;D

Quick Tutorial:
1. Create any close loops or square or unknown shape.
2. Then select it, choose skin.
3. Use bulb (modify it to desired smoothness)
4. Choose the lines whichever you wanted to make it tube.
5. Use tube along path for the lines you selected to make tube.
6. after making tubes for all the lines wanted.explode the tube and then group them and
then use FFD for deformation etc.

the only thing, soap and bubble will jsut be working until sept2008. dunno after that.
What happen to the old images, why did you removed them, IMHO i love those old ones than this new sunset view. can you put them back again, maybe you accidentally removed them. everyone here love that blue sky background.

FFD stand for free form deformation.
