over all good modeling and lighting. I am seeing two different rock texture size on Pillars (entrance) and the West wall (left view). I would suggest to make the sky more colorful. It seems dull.
Hi
Nice feel in general to the image.
Question though:
Whats the purpose of the image? - The building part of the image is small, and its more interesting part (enterance) is even smaller. I can tell that you want to show the displaced grass, as its very "popular" here lately, but if its not for us, CG people, then I believe you need a stronger object to focus on.
Perhaps just crop it as a long panorame image like I tried here (hope its OK with you)
Good luck
First thing that caught my eye were the tree shadows, way too sharp. Also the asphalt looks alittle light and stone colunms in front have too sharp of an edge. Nice job though.
Overall great image. I dont know if you meant to did it or not but I like the seasonal mood to it, perfect for september. Love the overall colors and background matte, I like the architecture too. The grass and tree shadows are well done as well (but to need to be softened).
Great job.
I guess my only main critque would be that it needs a little color correction, maybe a too much yellow and a little more b&c. I also agree with tightening up the shot to more of a panoramic (maybe not as quite as tight as the other)
Quick color test, see what you thing. This is only my opinion and of course those are like a**holes.
You know what, completely forget that last post of mine. I got home tonight and viewed this thread on my home laptop and your image color (top) looks just like the one I color corrected at work and mine (lower) has way too much blue. Guess I better color correct my work monitor. I though you had maybe fixed yours a first then saw my image. Boy, I'm a big dumby. So agian great image.
Perhaps a plant massing at the front left in the grassy area would help
break up some of the green and add more to the depth. Just a thought,
otherwise top notch work - like it cropped. Ranch style houses pose the
same problem of wide aspect.
