thanks earthmover. well im glad you know the context of this scene, indeed im using this as test scene for hypershot. i like the hypershot scence too especially the sofa materials. but the only drawback as you know was the night scene. anyhow, i love this version too because of the warm feeling accentuated by the ligth yellowish glazings as well as the carpet using a suttle displacement.
hi friend, yes buddy the model indeed needs that. actualy i used this scene to test hypershot, so i extended it further with vray trying the displacement using normal maps as displacement map. yeah i dont know why these rascals disrespect madame matisse ;D.
The best that I can do is keep learning, and the Renderings are just a small step to get real.

nice one nomer. The only thing id play with is the sofa texture. It looks a little too flat, but still a great image
hi steeler. yeah at the moment i still have difficulty in creating velvet materials in vray4su. i know is sr1 is achievable because of the angle blend material. im trying to lessen the eflection, add bump and adding exit color but i think i overdid it, so there is no sign of refelction. i will be posting later a night scene which i think much better,
