This is the first full rendering I've completed after going through the manual, tutorials, etc. I'd much appreciate any critique/comments. Thanks.

Hey Manganelli,
Here's my constructive criticism:
I think it looks gloomy and dark a bit for my likening. But If a cloudy day is your intention, the shadows should be very soft, since the clouds scattering the suns rays. Also it seems that the pavement is at the same level with the road. Road missing a asphalt texture.

Thanks for the response. Fresh eyes helps. The sky is too dark. It looked okay but the building looked washed out. So I switched the color mapping from linear to reinhold and dropped the multiplier to .7. The building coloring improved but the sky looked much darker. I've corrected by increasing the multiplier on the sky.

There is a texture on the asphalt but the asphalt is not coming out properly. Also, it still looks a bit washed out.

I have not found any really good trees to use in sketchup with vray. Any suggestions?
