  • Bright grass

Hello, i am architecture student and i am working on some visualization for a project.
In my scene i want to use colored (non green gras) but as you might see the gras reflects on my structure which i donĀ“t want to happen. Is there a way to prevent this from happening, whithout turning of the refflecitve layers of the other materials.

    Bright grass

That's not a reflection as much as a color bleed / light bounce which is otherwise why Vray is such an excellent rendering engine.

Plan #1. To avoid this color bleed, you might try rendering two passes and compositing them in Photoshop.

Plan #2. Change the grass color to neutral grey and render. In PhotoShop, create a purple overlay layer for just the grass area.

        Yup, that works

Cool installations! All in all, losing the purple grass was a good move.
