Hey camionero,
There are several rect. lights in the scene, one outside the window, one in front of the window and another one behind the camera.

Hey Sheldon,
First i recommend you to check out this POST

The material i used for the curtain is Vray2Sided. front white opaque material and back material is grey material opaque as well.
