  • Audi TT and some displacement

    Hello all !
This is my first post ever, so please be kind...

I'm currently desperately seeking freelance work after my MA in Urban Design and so working on a demo portfolio of my abilities. Please comment if you like the pic and what could be improved - and if you know somebody who seeks for me

    So, here comes my mailadress:

    d.wolf@formfest.de (germany)

and my page (the audi is still not there):

    Looks great!

The water is not right I think.
The wheels may be more metallic too.
I think the reflections on the car don't match the surrounding, the light parts are so bright compared to the grey cloudy sky.

But overall very good imo! Did you model it yourself?

    Regards,

    flipside

Thanks flipside, I think I have an idea about the water, I will improve it. The wheels are a bit too dark on that picture, on others they're too bright, depends on the light angle.
Now that you say it: The reflections on this pic are too bright, yes - but again - view angle. As I'm going to make an animation about this car I have to balance this out and maybe do some postpro-image correction. (bright/contrast).

It's all modelled by me in Rhino -> Max, the Suurland way.

I like the Nurbs there and am no friend of box modelling.

the head lights look too dark to me...while they arent on, the reflectors inside should be tossing at least some light around.

very nice scene, I agree with the above comments.

Also the wall looks a bit "Photoshoped"

But is is a realy nice pitcure.

            Nice!
My neck hurts when looking at the picture , just kidding, what I mean is: an angle in the field of view is cool but this is pretty extreme..
Attached a picture in wich it is just right, IMO..

But you did a great job modeling!, I can't do it

            regards,
            Leon

Alright, understood, just wanted to listen to some comments

I attached my contact to the picture, more pictures will follow on my website + an animation (hopefully) of the car. I come from germany and am mainly seeking for projects in the architecture/urban design/3D industry. I don't want to bother you here with that, just for the info and THX a lot for this very nice forum and their visitors !

                  awesome render, very nice.

                  I love it.

Although it could use a little more anti aliasing
