Re: some recent works
Hey Teo,
Looking pretty good. One question for ya. How do you light your interior space. Rec or Omni. What intensity and type do you use? Watts, Lumens? Im doing a Condo with great GI but I have some dark corners. Im not too sure if I should use Rec. or Omni. I cant seem to light up the corner without making it look fake. you know what I mean.
Also with your VISPOT, TEO EXTERIOR how do you control the sun? I cant seem to get the sun beams where I want them unless I have to rotate my model and guess.
Thanks
Sheldon

Re: some recent works
Hey Teo,
It's always great to look at your renders.
The interiors are looking great ! also the photo-match. The umbrellas have faceted arms. Btw how did you matched the umbrellas and the chairs?
As for the last (ext.) scenes, by my familiarity with you, i can say that you made those in a hurry.
Keep on the good work
Good Day

Re: some recent works
sheldon: most of my interiors like in offices and working spaces i turn off the GI and use only rect lights, some of them i turn off the shadows, but i never use omni,,,but i do this when there are not enough windows, but if in your models you have a lot of windows you dont need to use this metod, its just a matter of using rect lights in the right place, remember with some of them turn off the shadows and make them invisibles....
About the VISOPT to control the sun 1-set your sun posicion in skp 2- go to GI and click on the "M" and then click UPDATE,,,,ohh and also there you can change the sun size and intensity,,,hope this help,,any other question ill be here.
40th: to match the chairs and the umbrella, i make my photomatch, then position the sun and shadow of my model taking the photo ilumination as reference,,then i render and then in photoshop i use a layer mask to blend the 2 images,,,also using some filters to blend the lights and color balance, thx for your coments, and yes the exteriors where done very, very fast, as you can see. see ya bro!
