Hey Joe,
The room is very dark considering the size of the window with a bright looking day outside. I noticed the splotches on the ceiling coming from the lamps, It's a caustic problem This tutorial will help you. And one last little thing is the lid on toilet seat, it's faceted/not smooth.
Thanks 40th. The splotchy light thing is always a problem, I will definitely check out that tutorial. What do you recommend on lighting? I have always used emissive materials (since you can put them in components), but I get mixed results with physical lights as well. Thanks for the comments, and I will post an update soon.
i fix those problems modifying the irradiance map settings, defautl HSpH. subdivs are 50 and the Samples are 20 i change that increasing those values to like 300 and 400 really helps look this is default
and this is increased HSpH and Samples
also removing the refraction layer if its not necessary helps alot
I hate them too, they didnt really make the image much better, actually worse, which usually means I did something wrong, so you know. I will keep tinkering with it.
