Hey I think these are looking pretty good for your first round. Something with the lighting is bugging me on the first shot, but I like the second shot. I would make the pillows and furniture look a little softer, something I always have trouble with too. Also, you could PS some people sitting around watching the TV.
Thanks Joe. im really having trouble making the furniture softer. I dont know whats the best way to do it. I'd really love to do some PS with this one but sadly, im not good at it, but ill try. Thanks again.
I always have problems creating the "Soft" look for objects. If anyone knows of a tutorial or post about this that would help out a lot. On the Photoshopping you should check out this post...
welcome bro. good start... some things you might want to look at
- use the free UV tool by RUBY TO map cylindrically your texture. you can go to sketchucation.com to download under ruby section.
- i think the lighting effect on the last image was overdone.
- carpet.. there was a tutorial before here about flattening a pillow for carpet, i think that would be a good thing here, so that the displacement will happen in all direction not just vertically (like what you have)
Nomer, I was looking for the UV Ruby aswell, but could not locate where the downloads are at. It maybe due to my lack of sleep and stupidity on this Thursday morning, :'( but if you could point me in the direction it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks for the comments guys. I've been bc over few weeks.
About the carpet, I've tried to follow the tutorial using a pillow but no success at all.
The edges of my carpet is deifferent from the tutorial output. Maybe its beacause i use a
different pillow.
