a small and very fast project. It´s for a poster of a play (theatergroup of some pupils). I did it as a favor. If you know the movie, you can guess why i chose such a theme. The main focus was on the mood and the topic.

Did it with much photons (hi goncalo). works perfectly....

    and with bigger resolution

    Bigger

    and a blowup

    Blowup

nice work, good atmosphere, floor could use a tiny bit of displacement, as seen from the blow up. The chairs arent exactly class room type of chairs? I also feel the colors are little too desaturated, I think that is the effect you want, but I reckon a little less.
how much time was spent doing the project? could you post setting.
Did it with much photons??? could you explain your light setup and how you procesed each individual irradiance map.
    Really Good work overall.

yes, with the floor you are right. but to create a bump or displacement with that structure...there was no time. all was finished within 5 hours. modelling, rendering, post.....as is said, MUCH more important was the mood and the topic. the colour is the way that i wanted it.

photons...my new good friend. lightsetup with photons is soooo easy and works nearly like in real world (once again, hi goncalo ). you can even compare it with lightscape on my opinion. energy is coming trough holes you just have to know how much energy and how much details you want. you can all see it in the scene goncalo posted some time ago. it also works with other lightsetups and with more complex rooms.

I have seen Gonçalo´s scene, and i am still lost in it.
Could you briefly outline your interpretation of Gonçalo´s scene as a applied to your own.

              re

Awesome image...and it fits the movie. No crits from me. You might want to Z-up that fallen chair about 3" or 76.2mm before you render the final.
