Great job Sheldon, especially the materials and gentle camera movement. Do you use the flight path ruby for the camera path? How long did it take to render?

Looks great, good job on the camera movement most sketchup animations look slightly jerky no matter what.
Nice work on your materials too.

Well done SHELDON,
The Camera movement is very smooth, materials and lightning is good as well. If being very picky the only two things i would critic is that your anim. missing soundtrack, and maybe avoid the "reverse" camera movement.

Thanx for the comments,

Its been a struggle, but its done. The camera path I used the ruby script and assembled the pieces in Combustion.

As for rendering time, I rendered it at 1080 pixels high and it took a few days. I also have access to a render farm which is key. It would have never finished if I used a single PC. So i used 10 quad core machines to get it done.

I would have liked some kind of music but it was for my client, and they dont use music. Maybe on my website i can add some music to it.

The Lamp shade is just a white emissive material w/ a rec. light inside it. double sided.

That's a really nice animation. One of the few animation that didn't have that normal jerkyness SU's animation often have. Very nice.

WOW! incredible! extra long animation! superb light management! could you please tell me how did you manage to get such a great effect on the lamps? i liked it a lot! it must have been hard to get all rooms not too dark not burnt by light! congratulations great work!
