Re: night scene
beautiful mood, and very good shadow quality for a night scene, un managed to get that illumination right! could i see your visopt, perhaps? you see im not that good with night scenes, and i get very desperate, they take years to render! i sat on one of those wassily chairs (by Marcel Breuer - 1925) and they are quite comfortable, chrome looks amazing aswell as the crystal of the window and table, you have outdone yourself congratulations! i love your render.

Re: night scene
a night scene! love it! if only i can tell you how to blur the forefront (glass table) a little, i would... i think that'll add to the realism, sort of a "focused" effect. Would you know how to do that? Here's a link to some images that has the effect that i am referring to http://forum.asgvis.com/index.php?topic=6437.0... and oh i'd also be happy to get a link to your visopt!

Re: night scene
Awesome render, Booomer. I dig the mood lighting. I also love the metal ball with the reflections. Nice touch.
I agree with Paulo, a little bit of blur in the front would nice. You can do that in Photoshop for postwork.
One minor thing, your background night buildings look great but I think the perspective is a little bit off, or maybe it's just my eyes. For example, the lines of your balcony don't seem to be parallel with the balconies of the outside buildings.
