Many thanks for your suggestions, comments and critics, they are all very constructive and usefull as allways!
I ve use one light ligth for each can-light since the poupose of this render was to understand how should I illuminate the space, and to see how it can work at night.
It was done with irradiance map only since it respects the IES information, unlike photon map. Also I have not enough memory that could handle so many lights with a good quality for each too.
I ve 105 lights in this space, and this can turn this render into a hell, the irradiance map and AA tooked 8 hours each, at 3200x1600
It was not my intention to make a final image, but only a small test
in order to see how long it could take.
João I think the stone you are asking for is called "Vidraço" wich is a sand stone.
A lot of work need to be done yet, and my intention is to place a Landmark near the camara at the right side of the image, but probably I will turn off the lights too, and do a day scene instead.
Trixion, your suggestion is great
and I ve try that, but I m sure you can imagine why I give up from this...
I ve use Adaptative subdivision -1,2 with treshold 0.1 and randomize checked.
First diffuse bounces
Multiplier 1.0
For irradiance map -3,0 at 960x480
Clr tresh. 0.25
Nrm Tresh. 0.3
Dist. Tresh 0.2
HSph. subdivs. 50
interpolation samples 20
Secondary Bounces
Multiplier 0.7
Subdivisions 1
Depth 3
Exponential color mapping, with dark multiplier at 2.5
Thanks all,
Gonçalo
