  • less is more test

    oke I put myself on a "test" project. Goal... low rendertime and no post preduction. I setup an emitting billboard at the back, with an omni infront of it. Gave the ship a darkblue (near black texture). The rock model I got from Michalis (SketchUcation form). He made it with baked textures. I just added some bump to it. Oke so here it is:



    p.s. I would like to see more of these rendertimes ;D

    system specs: ADM phenom X4 940, 4 gigs ram

        i saw this first at sketchucation... nice indeed. can you share to us the bump map you use for the water.

            Well I set up an emitting billboard at the back (with and radial gradient ALPHA map) and infront of the sun position I added an yellow/orange omni light. I could have use it as HDRI but I don't know how to position it as I want so I used this method.
