Hey guys, thanks for the comments! Here is a blow-up of the sink region. Why do the brushed metal materials look different from the sink and the dishwasher door? They are both the same material.
Grate job!
Ah, i asked myself the same question once, i also had a kitchen scene and the sink was darker than all other metal brushed surfaces.
It's because the sink is reflecting dark areas, where's very little light.
Very nice clean images, the style of the kitchen is really nice too. Shame they have ruined a modern kitchen with the most awful floor tiles ever! Convince them to go for something that is more in line with the kitchen itself
Justin, the dishwasher reflect the floor, the sink, something else. I don't use this material for the sink, because the light doesn't bounce that much inside, and you can't make that "noisy black" to disappear. I tried, trust me ;D
I use "blurry chrome" instead, and it's much better.
Nice render!
Thanks for all the kind responses and comments. I really have a hard time when it comes to metal surfaces, and they just seem to get darker with the more light sources that I add.
