Visopt Test: All Render Settings + All Render Settings in 1 .rar

The first thing i would like to mention is that most of these settings are made by other users of V-ray. These settings are posted on forums where i found them.

For me this was a nice way to see what which visopt does and can do. I made a very simple model, with different colours and all materials are reflective. I also placed a time stamp on the bottum of all images so that everyone is able to see how long it took to render. I have been rendering these images on my laptop with a 2,5 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB Memory and Windows Vista 64bit.

The output resolution of the renders is : 800 : 600

Great experiment!!! To be more accurate....you may consider separate the interior & exterior scene. Looks like you have used the interior settign for an exterior environment. & that is why they look burnt. Anyway, this is a great experiment you put together for us. Thankyou!!!

yeah i did, i was also thinking to make an interior render, because some of the exterior visopt are also perfect for inside. But this was another project. Maybe in the near future!

I pretty much always use the external architecture visopt as it gives very good results for my renders. Some people like Mado but I dont think it gives as good a result. There are a couple of others you have posted that I will definately give a try in future aswell. Thanks for posting.

I will post an updated .rar with all the settings i've got at this moment. I will publish it also in this post. If there are people who rather don't have their settings published or under a different name i will modify it. Just let me know.

I would like to make clear that i only did this for everyone that is learning V-ray and it is only a method to see what the possibilities are with different settings.
