  • New Ceramic dragon

    Hi all

Just something I did to send out some emails presenting how great rhino is for the ceramic industry.
    Rhino/Rhinocam/vray the perfect solution.

Some small play in image edition to make sharper and light efect.

    regards
    Sergio

            Hello all

I didn't model the dragon, it is from the Standform Universety repository.
I Just tought it was a nice model to make some texture tests in rhino and show what Rhino can do for ceramic companyes.

This could be all modeled in Rhino but in this case I just wanted to have something +- fast to send our some newsletters.

fpedrogo : Thanks, BTW can you please tap Damien in the shoulder about my email from today? I will forward to you.

Hoop : I just did the lightning and texture was Fernando from ASGVIS that made for another object and I changed a bit for this one.

alrami : Thanks my friend, I belive I have a passion for visualization, I can't stop rendering.......OHHH wait yes, I only stop when my wifes starts to get the RED color when calling me for dinner so many times

                    Re: New Ceramic dragon

How did you even get that dragon to open in rhino? It has so much geometry, its insane!
Ive always wanted to render it, but rhino runs out of memory way before it will even open.

                    I run win XP64 with
                    8.00 gigs of ram
and an Intel Core 2 extreme @ 3ghz
                    ???

                      Hi minoli

I opend fine and this was done in my old PC dual core, the only trick I belive (because i had this 3d model for month) was that I reduced the mesh.

Renders just fine, alotugh a bit slow to select, etc

                      regards
                      Sergio
