Hi everybody, I post this first test, but something isn't right... some artefacts in the shadow...



This is the wireframe, some suggestion are taken from Porcellanas (ceramic)

well thats wierd, nothing to do with caustics? or maybe a intersecting geometry? or clamp output and subpixel check box?

I've solved the trouble, che bias of the rec light was wrong, it was bigger, i've changed 5 to 0 and this is the result



now ill'render the other image in larger res.

Hi, some answer

Fpedrogo: the colour of the soup is taken from the logo of my studio if u want take a look, www.soupstudio.eu

Leobonilla: It's a simple material with bumping, the bump texture it's from featured dowload section "indoor lamp" dowload lamp shade and take the bump texture...
This is the shot of the material....

Very cool web page.

On the material, I recommend you use the texture mapping on Rhino to repeat instead of the repeat option on V-Ray texture editor. The reazon is because if you use the repeat option through Rhino texture editor you will see the same tiled appearance in the viewport and in the render.

Nice shots,
the soup may be a bit more transparent
Though it might be that kind of soup I am not sure
a bit less thick glass might improve the scene

you are good at close up shots
