Thanks . Unfortunately, this is only a Uni project so it's only conceptual.

The roof was modelled using the Soap Skin Bubble tool. I made an outline of the building, and then form two extra lines between the outline to form three different continuous lines. And then I used the Soap Skin Bubble tool three times to form three different bubbles. And this is why the bubble has three different meshes . I have yet to find a solution for that.

After that painful procedure, I used the Tools on Surface plugin to offset each individual panel to created a thickness to the mesh, so that I could render it. It did take a long time... but I selected multiple faces to offset at the same time so that made things much easier and faster .

What I found impressive was the fact that my computer could handle the glass wall. It's essentially about 1500 glass components adjacent to one another.

        Very nice renders, Stevebo.

I'd like to see a little bit more light and shadow. It would be great to see the shadows of the roof on the floor, tables and chairs. Right now most of the foreground is in the shade.

        Have a nice day!

That was a comment for image 3 by the way.

The water is actually quite simple to make. The material is a transparent material with reflective and refractive layers on. The I add a noise bump map and play around with the settings there. The shape I apply it to is an extruded form which I group so that it will have refractive properties.

Thanks guys for the comments! I will play around with different lighting settings .

Had my crit today and went well! Might change a few things though like the bubble will meet the ground directly.
