Evil War Robot [Majorly completed] by Ozan, updated [01.02.2010]
If you liked it I will post some more shot, I have rendered more than 60 shots mostly variations for design
Top part of reflections didn't turn out too well in this one
Thanks for the reply I rendered an extra translucent one for you
And thanks to Gjis, Micha and all ASGVis Team for their great work and help
Re: EVIL WAR ROBOT by Ozan Design Works, updated [12.22.2009]
Hi Ozan,
Really cool design. My only comment would be to make the legs thicker/stronger and to the same level of details as the upper body. Right now the legs seem very weak.

PROGRESS
Thanks for the comments people
I used Rhinoceros 4.0 Dave, trying to create some works for my portfolio, currently I am unemployed and seeking some freelance modeling or rendering works for a living or some cash
I also like ASGVis and McNeel teams a lot, so trying to create some interesting works for them to put in their galleries
As product designers we can't share most of our designs publicly for copyright issues
So I just tried to create a non-product future evil war robot
Design modelling rendering belongs to mine Alrami, yet it is a bit hard to design on the fly
I don't use any sketch or reference but imagination, so basically I design in 3d while using Rhino
If I use traditional sketches it would be easier I suppose, as product designer I am good at sketching too, but currently I don't have a scanner on table, so you know the rest it is a bit hard
For inspiration, this is like a new generation robots such as in Star Wars series, if anyone didn't watch the series I recommend them
I will try more poses Thom, but I am also not very great with anatomy
You are right Ken, they are weak for support and details
Yesterday David asked for some body instead the head
So basically created a body in half an hour for upper body, and half an hour today for rest of details of arms, legs and arm covers
I will try more detailing, a better pose, legs and feet as you tell
I may also try a sword and some more additions
My friends didn't like the horns in the head much, what you people think about them
Fell free to critisize and comment as you wish I consider them all
