Nice! Adding pictureframes are always a nice touch to add to realism

I think you need to up the subdivs of the reflection on the wood though. And I would like to see the space to the left of the picture furnished or inhabited. The windowframe is slightly burnt red at the top.

I love the reflections on the light and table! Maybe the reflections on the table is just a little too much though.

      Great job!

        thank you.
i'm already looking for the components and colors for the space at the left of the image.
wood has been a real pain ... because it's noisy no matter how much i increase reflection multiplier, but i haven't been able to find a good image to map, and because i still have the old vray version i cannot use vismats from the site.

                Nice work arqestevez1,

What did you use as your environment settings, and camera? could you post a visopt?

One thing is maybe reduce the multiplier on the bumpmap to reduce the depth of the floor joints.

                Keep up the good work.

oh thank for your comment grapheler.
i'll try to reduce the bump multiplier.
for enviroment i turned off phisical camera cause illumination and background come from an hdri...
i was thinking that perhaps using hdri's for interiors would produce interesting results in reflection layers (instead of only reflecting blue monochromatic tone of vray's sky) but no... it is just slower, and we cannot soft shadows...

                    Re: house in Tantima

I like these renders, 1 thing however: the table appears to be floating on the rug.

Yeah the thing Tourniquetmaster said it looks that way, but i must say it really looks nice. Especially the glass material on the table!

                      Great job.

Ps. Most of the time people are allready amazed by the result so they probably won't see a floating table. Although that is my experience.

                        Re: house in Tantima

hey guys, thank you for your comments...
the thing with the table is that it is not floating... its base is just too extruded cause displacement from the carpet used to grow through it...
perhaps the solution would be to modify displacement's map so that it could stop growing where the base of the table is...
ps. i really apreciate honest comments, they always make us keep moving forward
