      looks great.

i like the rug is it displacement?
i also like the wall texture (near the plant) and the lighting in general.

i agree about those sofas (the only thing that is really noticably weird).
one more little thing - the reflection on the chrome frame of the sofa doesn't appear to match the scene - is it a bitmap? maybe an HDRI enviornment would improve it a lot...

        Looks good so far!
Perhaps the sofas are a little rigid looking...chamfer the edges and meshsmooth?.......also, looks like they're missing the bottom (seating) cushion...

        Great stuff!

lovely rug. Coffee table looks to be floating a little bit.
            Sofas need more substance
            nice over-all feel

              Thanks for the comments,

I know about the sofa's, they where downloaded from some free 3d model site and they are not very good. And there is indeed a cusion missing. I am working on it.

The reflections are true reflections and not a bitmap, also no hdri map in this scene, there is a wall directly next to my camera, maybe that is why the reflections look a bit weird on the right.

The table seems to be floating because there is a lot of displacement on the rug. The displacement is just a grass bump with a texture of a rug.

                in addition to previous posts:

-gaps on the floor are too strong

-as i think floor should reflect something

                -background image is awful

                good luck.

                      ty!

I'm sorry if that offended you in any way, but since everyone had already mentioned the crits I had, I figured I might as well ask you what that was since I had no idea (I'm american, we're all function and no style )

i don't want to be a broomstick-ass but shouldn't there be a stack of blinds at the bottom of the half pulled up blinds at the left?

good job anyways, making my first interior scene at the moment

ik wil geen mierenneuker zijn, maar moet er geen stapeltje latjes onderaan die half opgetrokken luxaflex zijn?

anders wel strak werk ben mijn flat nu ook aant modellen

Your indeed a bit of a 'broomstick-ass' . But i like that idea. will try to put it in next time i make pulled up blinds.

Inderdaad een beetje mierennneukelarij maar wel een goed idee.

                              Groetjes,
