  • Interior render 01

Hi! This is my first interior render.
It is 2000x1000, with primary engine 'Irradiance Map' and secondary engine 'Light cache'.
The light is given only by sun with environment sky.

Buuuut...What are those strange poit of light on the table and on the chair?
They are due to the low subdivs (2000 with sample size of 0.02) of light cache?

    Please...help me!

    Regards.

    Here the image:

          Re: Interior render 01

If I remember correctly, the spots are due to the Adaptive Amount under DMC Sampler. The optimum value is 0.85.

On the topic of improving the image, try and change the viewport so that the verticals are in fact vertical. 3 point perspective can look wrong if the image isn't trying to be dramatic. The leather material seems a little grainy. Try upping the subdivs of the reflection layer in the leather material.

Is that staircase a metal staircase? If it is, then I would not like that myself. Is this a living room? Why are the armchairs where they are? It seems like a very cramped space and has no real usage.

Bearing in mind that I use Sketchup, not Rhino, I have attached (below) the visopt that I use most often. It is pretty much a visopt that I have constantly been improving through reading tips in the forums here. The main thing that needs to be changed in the visopt is the camera speed. The noise threshold in the image and DMC sampler are very low, so you can change that to lower the quality of the render in test renders.

          Hope this helps!

            Re: Interior render 01

            Hi everybody.
I triy to go one step befor and restart the rendering.
I've put all the material light gray to set the lighting.

I've used only sunlight + exposure camera + GI and environment.

The lighting is pretty good but there is this bad effect with shadow.
How can I improve the image????

            Thanks
