    Re: living room

Omar: too much noise on materials, i know you like some noise, but i think that effect its better when its apply to the hole scene and not to some elements, in this case you only apply it to the forniture, first image style and angle looks familiar too me (hehe), if your using detail enhancement options change the radio...you aslo forgett to put the baseboard (el zoclo), and exterior image should look more burn because of the lightning in the interior, also need to work on the spotlights so they cast the correct light, check the IES post of nomeradona or andeciuala...cause in this case u only use rect lights... carpet is superflat, in real life even if its flat it has some volume,..all camara angles are too low, maybe would be nice to put the 2nd image in a normal high...keep posting.

        Re: living room

        hey teofilo...
you're right it's noisy, but i already increased reflection multiplier to 120 (to noisy materials)... this is the second time that this happens and i got no idea what else to do...
i can see that those materials look even more noisy when i turn on depth of field... but i'm not good adding doff effect in photoshop...
background is really not supposed to be so burnt cause sun is behind the camera in that shot, but i'll keep it in mind...
about lights, i know... i am actually looking for some flare effect i see a lot in other forums, but i can´t get there yet
i can also change camera position, but in this particular case i had to set it that way because i need the image for the "sheetrock guy"
about the first image, you mean casa zavala? hehe.
about carpet... i was in a real hurry, and i could not apply the image to the carpet that i usually use... i truly don't know how to map an organical shape without loosing sense...

        dave...
        i'm sorry, i didn't understand well :P
you mean that i should apply leather texture to the furniture? hehe

thank you both for your comments.

          Re: living room

When you have that kind of noise on the glossiness material, you have to increase the material glossiness subdivision. I usually use 32.

          I like the renders.

            Re: living room

hey thank you fernando... here's another try...
i had already increased subdivision but it was still noisy... this time i checked on the detail enhacement and changed radius to 30 as teofilo said (default was 60) though i'm not really sure what that does...
any way, i'm just having fun changing focal distances hehe...

                Re: living room

yeeeaah hehe, i kind of like it too, but i was actually not tryin to get noise... heheh it just looks like that when i turn on depth of field...
could anybody give me a little explanation of what detail enhacement does?... in the last image i reduced default value to 30 and i think i reduced noise a little.

                  Hi Arquestevez1
could anybody give me a little explanation of what detail enhacement does?
Irr Map tends to blurry in the detail area and create splotchy or flickering, the DE use Brute Force (DMC) on those area. Basically is an hybrid solution, IRR Map and DMC for the detail area.
