Derek: to be honest bro, i dont edit the leaves of the plants i have, cause skp is not that good mapping textures, but if you have skills and you can do it of course your plants will look better, I just apply a little reflection layer to them, i down load most of them of the warehouse and also i make them in onyx trees software, hope this helps

Teo the images look terrific!. I don´t know what you do to add that touch of realism but they are great!
BTW did you model or download the statue? and what did you use for the stone columns, bump or displacement? Great work indeed!

Thx Rodrigo, I think important thing for realism is the correct materials and a good postpro. The statues a didnt model, the stone materials are just bump map with some reflection layers.

Heres my latest work, another exterior, to be honest i miss the interiors renders cause they arent so hard to do.... This proyect is very similar to a one i post before, but it has some design changes. Location Australia.

The background look fake, it need more color correction, and the trees dosent mach with the perspective. but nice render any ways

                        Hi Teo,

I have a couple suggestions/ critique of the renders. (I'm assuming this had a short deadline, so just simple suggestions )
                        - the materials look flat, especially the brick, maybe add a bump map at least.
                        - Maybe shift the perspective so the lines are more vertical - more like a 2pt perspective.

                        Best,
                        Andy

like for lamps, vray 2sided material, same kinda translucent material for curtains. like this for example

Oh ok bro, for that i just play with the opacity on the sketchup material editor, and sometimes when i make it a vray material I take out of it the reflection and refraction layers and that it. Hope this makes sense bro.
