  • using clip art

Attached is an exercise in using clip art to complete an image. I used 40 different layers in building up the final image. The hardest part is trying to ensure the lighting on the clip art is as near as possible to the original image. As most clip art is lit from a 45 degree angle it helps to light the model the same way.The photoshop file ended up at 70
I found that if you use a gaussian blur of 0.5 over the entire base model before adding clip art,it helps to reduce most of the sharpness conflicts that usually occcur

The clip art looks great quality. Did you buy these from a commercial site?

          Nice work Mann... congrats

But I would check if the perspective angle is ok, it looks a bit strange to me..

Do you maybe know some sites ware we can download some clip maps...? Especially for the tree in the top of the render..

attached is an updated image with people added.
regarding the front car,the perspective at the rear is incorrect but because this is a piece of clip art,I cant distort/change the perspective without messing it up.Hopefully it is not too obvious.Ill get it right next time!

                      Re: using clip art

Attached are 2 more images, this time of a night shot. The top image is the original render from Vray, the bottom one the final post processed image. The paving at the front of the image was altered to grass after the render was complete but it was an easy job to change this in photoshop rather than rerendering(these are low res images, the original image files are 7mb plus).

night scenes are hard to accomplish a good result, IMO, so you made an excellent job in these night scenes, congrats again bro, great ps skills!

Definitely great work with these! Demonstrates how important good PS skills are in the outcome of a final render. Day scene is just perfect. In the night scene the low horizon in the reflection of the car window really sells the image. Only thing that jumps out at me is that the flowers are in bloom, yet the trees still have no leaves....otherwise...perfecto!
