  • WIP. Dining room

I have been modeling my entire house lately and my model has gotten very very large so i have begun to break it down and render specific rooms. This is a current wip of the dining room.

    I plan on adding:

    -Brighter sun
-indoor lights (Need some tips with that)
    -Include models for reflection
    -Accessories on sideboard.

I cant seem to get omni lights and spot lights to work with sunlight? I must be missing something with the new interface.

    hope you like,

Updated look. What is the best way to remove the bumps on the walls and such. I am also trying to shine some light onto the table from the pendants. I changed it to inverse. but that made them less powerful it seems. Also you can see the spots on the images. Any tips to make them shine onto the posters more?

I will also be changing the view to show more of the table and chairs.

    -Gallystops-

*edit. I also noticed the flower pot is no longer transparent? Could it be the addition of the spot lights in the pendants?

The splotchiness is due to under-sampling. Increase the Shp. Subdivs in the IR setteings.
Also in DMC Sampler Set the adaptive amount to 0.85.

Those should do it. Hoping to see the outcome.

try to modify your visopt i will suggest that you use irradiance map and ligh cache, and reduce those dark ball on your walls.

Any idea why the glassware has become almost cloudy?

Im doing a high res render right now. I will make the adjustments you say for the next one. Im going to work more on the spot lights.

Still having a little trouble with their power and distance of light. (falloff ?)
